Glazes
Glazing is a complex process. Magic (actually it’s chemistry!) happens in the heat of the kiln. The kiln and the clay body used determine how a glaze will turn out in the end. Here are some of the surfaces I can achieve. If you’re interested in undertaking a commission, this page can be of use. Please note, glaze effects are subject to change so this is a guide only. I predominantly use an electric kiln and occasionally gas kiln. Images below are all fired in an electric kiln.
